My mind began to wander the other night. When we look for photographers, can we really put a price on our family, memories, and sacrifice quality at the same time; then still be truly happy with our purchase a few years later?
Investing in custom portraiture, even just once a year, will preserve memories in ways chains, or school photographs can’t. Customer photographers look beyond just the cost, we build relationships, and want to be your family photographer for years to come. So I say spend the time finding the right photographer for your photography needs over something that will save you money. You’ll be happy to know you’re spending it on quality to capture even just one moment on someone who will be happy to see your family grow.

Sometimes it’s hard to get an idea on what to wear between going fashions, and comfort. Here are two ideas; one casual and one a bit dressier. The best thing about children is it usually reflects adult fashion so it’s easy to find something to coordinate!
Whites are a heavy trend this season being bold and casual at the same time. It reflects the sun and heat back keeping you cooler than wearing dark colors. Whites and dark jeans help create a crisp image for the camera.
Soft colors such as khaki are easy going, comfortable, and soft colors work well with a lot of people. They help create a softer feel for the camera.

It’s official….I’m going to be making the leap to be Sioux City’s Boudoir Photographer! I love boudoir too much to not do this. Boudoir is empowering, makes us feel great, and shows us who we really are. I will continue to do other photography sessions such as Children, Family, and Senior. Boudoir is my favorite and I will begin to specialize in Boudoir.

Great news everyone….Starting today I will be offering digital packages! I can’t offer CD’s so to solve that I will be using USB Flash Drives instead.
Digital packages will be availible for any session type after a $250 print purchase, sized to an 8×10 for your own printing. The cost will be $30 per image, 10 images for $200, or a full session for $525. The print release will be included.
Who says I can’t move out of the stone-age?

I stumbled across an organization this morning dedicated to children and families with illnesses. They provide services to families to find photographers in their area to take complimentary sessions of them.
It’s definitely worth a look!
